Dr. Kathrin Kind-Trueller is a multi-award-winning expert in applying AI to business. Her illustrious career spans over two decades, marked by transformative roles in global organizations and groundbreaking technological advancements. Currently serving as the Chief Data Scientist and AI Director for Cognizant’s Global Growth Markets, she is at the forefront of leveraging AI to drive business growth and innovation.

A Stellar Career in Engineering and AI

Dr. Kind-Trueller began her career in 1999 with Siemens, working in quality engineering for international communication mobile networks. She later ventured into the automotive industry, where she developed cutting-edge vehicle functions, including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), engine management, steering, braking, cockpit infotainment, and autonomous driving. Her expertise has been sought after by leading automotive suppliers like Bosch, ZF-TRW, and Magneti Marelli, as well as automotive giants BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi.

Her academic prowess and innovative mindset led her to become a Senior Research Scientist in AI for the Volkswagen Group, where she spearheaded research that redefined the intersection of AI and automotive technologies.

Beyond Industry: A Commitment to Knowledge and Mentorship

Dr. Kind-Trueller’s contributions extend beyond her professional roles. As a Technical Editor for CRC Press and Springer Nature, she shapes the discourse on cutting-edge AI and autonomous systems. She has also authored and co-authored several technical books, sharing her insights on data and technology.

Her dedication to mentorship is evident through her volunteer work with the KALAI initiative and her guest lectures at the University of Agder in Norway. These initiatives underscore her commitment to nurturing the next generation of AI and business leaders.
