Yesterday, the Swiss School of Business and Management Geneva proudly supported the University of Applied Sciences in Security and Safety in their prestigious conference, SIGURNOST 24 – Security in the Era of Artificial Intelligence. The event brought together academic experts and industry professionals to discuss the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in modern security challenges.

Dr. Luka Leško on AI and Terrorism

SSBM Geneva’s President, Dr. Luka Leško, delivered a thought-provoking presentation on how artificial intelligence is being exploited by terrorists in today’s world. His insights highlighted the concerning ways in which AI is used to further terrorist activities, while also emphasizing its powerful potential in preventing and countering terrorism. Dr. Leško shared cutting-edge research and real-world examples, demonstrating AI’s dual role as both a threat and a tool for enhancing global security.

AI and Prevention of Cyber Attacks in Industry Leaders

The conference also featured a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Dario Silic, a distinguished professor at SSBM Geneva. The panel, comprising key members of the academic and professional community, explored Artificial Intelligence and prevention of cyber attacks in Industry leaders.

Introduction to AI Ethics by Aco Momčilović

As part of the conference, SSBM Geneva professor and President of the Global Institute for the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, Aco Momčilović, MBA, introduced attendees to the basic concepts of artificial intelligence.
