The 2025 ICOFIS International Joint Conference – Human Capital Accumulation through Mutual Educational Cooperation between Myanmar and Korea – has successfully concluded, marking another milestone in international academic collaboration. Co-hosted by the Swiss School of Business and Management Geneva (SSBM Geneva) and Myanmar International Business College (MIB College), the conference brought together scholars, students, and industry leaders from around the world.
This prestigious event saw active participation from SSBM Geneva’s Global MBA students, who presented insightful research papers alongside students from Myanmar, Korea, China, India, and Singapore. Their contributions demonstrated a deep understanding of global business challenges and the role of education in fostering human capital development.
The conference was further distinguished by the presence of esteemed guests, including Ms. Yi Minjin, Counsellor of the Korean Embassy; Dr. Kyi Shwin, Rector of the University of Foreign Languages, Yangon; and Dr. Myint Myint Maw, Pro-Rector of the University of Foreign Languages, Yangon. Additionally, 10 distinguished professors from Korea and several renowned CEOs from Myanmar attended the event, offering valuable insights into regional and international business trends.
