We are proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of our esteemed professor, Dario Silić, Ph.D., who was honored with the Best Infrastructure Project in Croatia Award for his work on the Second Tube of the Učka Tunnel project. This prestigious award was presented to him by the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Physical Planning, Construction, and State Assets of Croatia, Mr. Branko Bačić.

The Second Tube of the Učka Tunnel is a €200 million infrastructure project that plays a crucial role in enhancing transportation efficiency and safety in Croatia. The award was organized by the Croatian Center for Earthquake Engineering and Spegra, with the support of the Croatian Government.

Beyond this professional milestone, Professor Silić also took part in a humanitarian evening, where over 80 companies collectively raised more than €200,000 for Merkur Hospital in Zagreb. Merkur Hospital is one of Croatia’s leading medical institutions, particularly recognized for its excellence in organ transplantation.
