Mario Silic, PhD

Has over 30 years of professional experience in various senior management positions. He worked for several international corporations such as Epson, HP, Alcatel, Western Union, Renault and has provided consultancy companies to numerous organizations such as City of Barchelona, AUDI, City of Munich, Ericcson, etc. He obtained PhD from the University of St Gallen, Switzerland. His research motivation focuses on the fields of  AI, information security, open source software and mobile. His  research about “Reducing Insider Computer Abuse” in the cybersecurity risk context was supported by University of St Gallen GFF Project funding in 2015, followed by a GFF Postdoc grant in 2016 and a Swiss National Science Foundation Postdoc project grant in 2017. He is teaching various courses: Cybersecurity, Machine Learning/AI applied to the business context, Data Analytics and Decision Making, Programming, Project Management, Innovation Management, Web server, etc. His google scholar profile can be found here.
