Biography

Dr Mohammed Rakib-ul-Hassan is currently serving as a Professor at Geneva Business School. He earned his PhD in Private International Law from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, with a thesis focused on connecting factors in international commercial contracts. Dr Rakib-ul-Hassan’s academic journey began with an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from the University of London, UK and an LLM in Commercial Law (Master of Laws) from the University of Huddersfield, UK.
With over a decade of diverse experience, he has held teaching roles at prestigious institutions, including the Glion Institute of Higher Education, World University of Bangladesh, Dhaka Centre for Law & Economics. His professional expertise also encompasses legal research and analysis, he worked as a Research & Legal Analyst at 2020 Management AG in Zürich, where he conducted compliance and risk management research, drafted contracts, and navigated complex data protection regulations.
He has published on various topics, including intellectual property and alternative dispute resolution, contributing to both academic journals and newspapers. Fluent in multiple languages and passionate about teaching and education, he is committed to advancing the understanding of international frameworks in commercial contexts, making his work highly regarded within both academic and professional communities.
