The Learner Support Policy reflects our dedication to student wellbeing, academic excellence, and continuous growth. Through personalized advising, academic mentorship, IT and administrative support, and access to a comprehensive digital learning ecosystem,
we ensure that every student has the tools necessary to navigate their studies with confidence. Whether through one-on-one support, a userfriendly Student Information System (SIS), or structured mentorship
programs, we are here to guide students every step of the way.
By fostering an inclusive and student-centred approach, SSBM Geneva ensures that learning is not just about acquiring knowledge but about building a fulfilling and enriching educational experience that prepares students for success in their careers and beyond.
Admission to SSBM Geneva programs is conducted fully online through the Student Application System (SAS) and supported by the Admissions team.

All students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) require a visa to be able to study in Switzerland. This applies only to students who enroll in campus-based programs at the Geneva campus.
SSBM Geneva student services support visa applicants by informing them on the process and providing necessary documentation on enrollment.

Mentors are assigned according to the student’s area of interest in relation to the mentor’s expertise.
D
Academic Support
Academic support is provided by ensuring students have access to faculty members who deliver courses. Campus based students can request a one-on-one meeting with a course lecturer during designated consultation hours on
campus. Online students are provided with an opportunity to contact the course lecturer through a centralised email address (lecturers@ssbm.ch) that can either provide answers to frequently asked questions or forward the request directly to the course lecturer.
E
Ticketing System
The centralized ticketing system in SIS provides students with a dedicated platform to submit inquiries and report issues across various topics, ensuring a guaranteed resolution within two working days.
F
Quality Reminders
SIS platform enables the Quality Assurance team to detect students who are behind on their studies and send them automatic quality reminders to inquire about the reasons for their insufficient progress and offer additional support.
G
SIS student KPIs
Students’ dashboard in SIS provides a visual representation of their overall progress, program duration (months passed and months left in the program), average grade, risk score, number of courses completed and financial health indicators. This is to assure that students are presented with the most important KPIs relevant to their academic journey at SSBM Geneva.
H
Webinars

SSBM Geneva maintains high-quality standards and fosters a transparent, fair, and inclusive academic environment. To achieve this, the institution has established a set of key policies and procedures that define the rights and responsibilities of all stakeholders. These policies are regularly updated to reflect best
practices and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Students can access the latest versions of these important documents through their SIS dashboard.
Below are some of the key policies and procedures relevant to students:
For each aspect of their program, students are provided with detailed written instructions and guidelines, including instructions on how to write and submit assignments, guidelines on final theses, course syllabi, etc.
SSBM acknowledges that students may have acquired valuable knowledge and skills through
formal education, professional experience, or life learning. The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
and Credit Transfer provide a structured framework for assessing, granting, and applying
previously gained competencies toward a chosen course of study. This policy ensures that students
receive appropriate recognition for their prior learning, enabling them to progress efficiently
through their academic journey while maintaining the integrity and quality of SSBM’s educational
standards.
At SSBM Geneva, the learning experience is continuously enhanced through innovative approaches, and the introduction of a Fully Gamified Student Information System (SIS) exemplifies this commitment. This initiative has been designed to increase student engagement and motivation by incorporating game-like elements into the SIS, transforming routine academic and administrative tasks into more enjoyable and rewarding activities for students, faculty, and administrators.
Campus-based students have various services at their disposal that are specifically tailored for students who choose to study at one of the face-to-face programs at the Geneva campus. These services are aimed at
