Embarking on a journey in the MBA in International Sports Law at the Swiss School of Business and Management (SSBM) Geneva is nothing short of exhilarating. The program commenced with an engaging practical training session led by the esteemed Daniel Muñoz Sirera, a leading expert in sports law. The focus was on the intricate process of transferring a football player, a critical area in international sports law.
Mr. Muñoz Sirera’s session was both comprehensive and interactive. Students were introduced to the legal frameworks governing player transfers, including FIFA regulations, contractual obligations, and the role of agents. The highlight of the day was a simulated transfer negotiation, where students were divided into teams representing clubs, players, and agents.
