The Swiss School of Business and Management Geneva (SSBM), in collaboration with InnKick and the Consulate of Türkiye in Geneva, hosted a landmark event on Monday, December 11, 2023, titled “Empowering Women: Overcoming Challenges and Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs.“
The distinguished gathering took place at the SSBM premises in Geneva, drawing attention to pressing issues in today’s business landscape. The focus of the evening was on empowering women in entrepreneurship. The event featured a formal panel discussion and a keynote address by the Honourable Minister H.E. Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas from the Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Family and Social Services.
The panellists were: Dr.Amira Alqam Simcox-Dean of SSBM, Dina Wehbe-Intellectual Property Specialist, Mine Uran– Founder & Chief Executive Officer Alver BV & Alver World SA & Swiss Certified Board Member and Trainer and Hulya Kurt-CareerCoach, Mentor, Trainer and President of Organization Women International Trade.
Together, these influential figures addressed the systemic obstacles faced by women in the business world, sharing stories of triumph that serve as a beacon of inspiration. The discussions delved into actionable steps towards creating an equal and fair entrepreneurial ecosystem.
