Visit to Ajeenkya DY Patil University

Professor Minja Bolesnikov, Head of Research at SSBM Geneva continued his travels and visited Ajeenkya DY Patil University in Pune.

Pune, as a city, is important because it is the place of memorial center of Mahatma Gandhi in Aga Kan Palace (ashes of Mahatma were scattered over there), also, it was the Prime Ministers residence in 15^th and 16^th century.

Ajeenkya DY Patil University is one of the largest universities in the area with somewhat over 30,000 students studying in different schools. Prof. Bolesnikov met with Research Dean Dr Rajasekaran Shanmugam as well as with deans of School of Management, School of Film and Media, School of Design and Law School and professors from School for Engineering. Dr. Minja had the opportunity to visit design workshop, talk to professors and students on innovative vehicle and motorcycle designs they design.

In a session with the University management, prospective collaborations were discussed and we are looking forward to upcoming opportunities!
