SSBM Geneva’s professor Dario Silic was with Emmanuel Macron, the French President
The President of France Emmanuel Macron has arrived to Zagreb, Croatia on Wednesday to discuss various topics of great importance for both countries. Also, the visit of the French president was an opportunity to sign mutual agreements for the cooperation between France and Croatia. Our renowned professor Dario Silic participated at the official lunch that was held on November 25, 2021 at the luxury Hotel Esplanade with the French president Emmanuel Macron, Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly, Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic, Minister of Finance Zdravko Maric and a number of other ministers from the Government of the Republic of Croatia and other business professionals from various multinational companies from the European Union.
Professor Dario Silic, is also the General Manager of Bina Istra, which is part of the Bouygues TP group, one of the biggest French companies. Bina Istra is one of the biggest French infrastructure investors in the Republic of Croatia. Hence, this was an opportunity for professor Dario Silic to highlight the importance of France investing in Croatia. Moreover, he indicated the beneficial partnership between France and Croatia, especially on the project of building highways in Istria and the airport which employs over 2000 workers with a total investment of 1.5 billion Euros. SSBM Geneva highly values faculty involvement in such big projects as they are able to transfer their experience to the students.
